School Programs

This educational talk combined with a visual display is a stimulating way to teach your students on Birds of Prey within our environment. This presentation not only allows students to see a variety of birds up close, but also helps the students to identify birds of prey, learn about their diet and where they can be found in Australia. It also gives the students an insight on how unique these birds are, what role they play in our environment and how susceptible they are to human activity.

The display will be approximately one hour. On the day all the students will have the opportunity to hold one of the birds we bring along. If there are any preferences for species you would like to be present on the day, please let me know.

Assorted activity sheets can be provided to assist students with their current educational program. With your permission, feathers and pamphlets will be handed out to the students at the end of the display. This display does provide great photo opportunities for the students.

Don’t forget the camera!!!!
